- The balcony was a great to relax and have a cup of coffe while looking at the view
- high ceiling living room and loft was great for teenage kids

Local flare was wonderful. Nail salon downstairs was a bit sketchy though. Paid 55 dollars more than I asked for. But all other businesses around were fabulous and fair. Fun walking the local vendors and restaurants were lovely. Also food store 2 blocks away

Beautiful beaches, we have stayed in Kihei 12 times, we love the area. We usually bring our kids and grandkids with us, this was the second time with just the two of us. Great beaches for small kids and inexperienced adults. Great swimming beach.

Kihei has very nice vacation vibes.
Kihei has very nice vacation vibes. However Kihei is a place far from Maui airport. For food and groceries we had to go to Kahului. The drive was 20 minutes. We sacrificed time in favor of location and peaceful community.

I love Maui.
I love Maui. It is so full of lovely things to do: driving, snorkelling, boogy boarding, swimming, sunning, exploring, hiking, taking in hula dancers at Shops at Wailea. The weather is great, blue skies, nice and hot. The people are lovely.
Each town has it's own charms. Kula Lodge and Kula Gardens are fantastic.
You can even get a dog-on-demand from the humane society and give a shelter dog a trip to the beach.
Maui is the best!

Community has a lot to offer.
Community has a lot to offer. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away from most condos. Locals are friendly. Plenty of beach and parks. Nice access for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Not overly crowded or pricy. Close to airport, boat launches and other Maui cities. Loved our stay here!

Kihei is the perfect location when visiting Maui.
Kihei is the perfect location when visiting Maui. There are good restaurants, you are typically only steps from the beach. The location is the perfect base for day trips.
I recommend the Paia Fish Market for dinner and Threes for cocktails (the sushi is surprisingly good too!).
It doesn't rain in Kihei either, only 10"/year.
Loved the location, the sunsets on the beach right beside the property was amazing.
Loved the roughly 1000 sq feet rooftop patio hangout spot off of our Lanai, (we were in the Tsunami Unit so if there’s a Tsunami other renters go through your unit to this hangout spot but if no tsunamis you get it all to yourself)
Loved the shower, the property had security to keep trouble out, the pool was pretty nice nothing exceptional. There was a pub and restaurants really close to watch the sunset from that were only a couple minute walk away.
What we liked - the resort is very thoughtfully furnished to every small detail. The location is great, especially to relax in the private garden after a tiring day. Just that it's not on the beach, however not very far either and all beach activity things like towels, snorkelling stuff even sunscreen cream are also stacked in the store room. The property manager is friendly, prompt in communication and very helpful. We definitely will like to return there for our next Maui trip and recommend as well.
Amazing location with views of sunsets and palm trees, easy walk to food trucks (and Foodland), across the street from the perfect bay to learn how to surf. Good dive shop downstairs.
Our two teens liked having their own spaces (bedroom #2 and the living room pullout couch) and we all enjoyed the privacy of the corner apartment.
Economical choice for plenty of space, a balcony, access to the pool/grill area and Kihei’s many attractions.
Toni, property manager. Was communicative, helpfull & efficient.
The stormy weather just prior to our arrival caused the access/Beach side Rd to be blocked/flooded, but that was just nature.
The beach is only 50 yards from the apt and was beautiful & quiet!
There are plentiful facilities nearby for any shopping or restaurant needs.
I would go back to these apps again, if I return to Maui.
The location was convenient, by the beach in central Kihei. The property was clean and well maintained, especially the central courtyard. Neighbors were very quiet and polite. The apartment was well provisioned with kitchen utensils and thoughtful accessories like beach chairs. The apartment itself was clean and neat.
Directly on the beach and a short walk to local shops / 5-10mins drive to the centre of Kihei. The building is a little bit dated but our unit had been tastefully refurbished and had everything we needed. The grounds are modest in size but tidy and well-kept. Staff were friendly and helpful with local suggestions.
Quiet oasis in the heart of Kihei and only slightly off the beaten path. It's a short walk to the Kam beach 1 (with Kam 2 & 3 also very close), restaurants, and Foodland. Clean and comfortable, with a lovely pool and courtyard. Friendly hosts that live nearby and clearly care about their guests' comfort.
Great accommodation right in the beach. Very clean and had all the extras needed to have a fabulous stay.
It’s a quiet block close to all the action in Kihei and has easy parking and facilities.
Hosts are great communicators.
- Really clear and comprehensive communication ahead of checking in
- Clean, safe property with plenty of parking nearby
- Great location in Kihei -- food/beaches nearby, and ready access to the rest of the island
This property and owners are amazing! It is a well kept Maui secret, but the word needs to get out! It is immaculately clean, in a perfect location for traveling the island, and across the street from the beach.
The location is perfect for exploring Maui. This first floor unit is less than a football field away from the beach. They have provided everything that you could want to make your stay more comfortable.
everything! it is conveniently located right on the beach, and right next to a large number of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The apartment has everything you’d need for a stay and it lacked nothing.
The close walk to the beach was amazing, and the beach is beautiful. The bed was super comfortable, I got some great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend Kihei Kai to anybody.
Excellent location, right on the beach and in close proximity to a number of towns such as Paia, Wailea-Makena & Kahului. Also a quiet and tranquil facility.
Love hearing the waves crashing on the beach. Nice to have a balcony overlooking the ocean. Everything worked perfectly with no issues. Great water pressure
The super close proximity to the beach was absolutely wonderful - made the whole trip. The unit was a good "cheap" option, too, as the unit needs some TLC.
